Don’t Clean with Dirty

The same way you wouldn’t bathe in Twix bars and mozzarella sticks, you shouldn’t clean your house with a bunch of crap.

Here’s a compilation of different JFB- approved cleaning products.

Don’t be fooled by the green leaves on Seventh Generation bottles or honest-sounding names like Honest and Better Living. Yes, those companies do have acceptable products, but every single item must be checked and vetted to ensure true non-toxicity. (I’m allowed to make up words, right?)

I used Gimme the Good Stuff’s suggestions as a starting off point, and then discovered many of these on my own. FYI: things will feel and smell different. There may be some greasy residue left on your dishes, and your floors may smell less like manufactured lemons. Its all good. Health for the win!

First off, you can make all of your own cleaning products using mixes of baking soda, white vinegar, castile soap, and essential oils. Here’s Buddha Bowls and Burpees DIY Glass Cleaner recipe. Search there for more DIY cleaners, or click here and here.

But if you do want to go for the pre-made stuff, no judgements. See below.
